If Walls Could Talk
If walls could talk, what would they say?
Would they tell of the pain they saw every single day?
Would they sing the lullabies they heard every night.?
Or tell of the wounds left by the screams and the fights.
Would they speak of the laughter, the love that they held?
Or show you how easy, and how hard that grace fell.
Or would they be silent, and never speak a word.
Or sing you a song, the saddest you’ve ever heard?
If walls should talk
If walls would talk
If walls could talk, If walls could pray
If walls could talk, what would they say?
