If the walls could talk.
If the walls could talk
what would they say?
Would they prepeat every word I've ever spoken?
Or every rule I've ever broken?
Would they be old and wise?
Talking about watching me grow through time?
Would they be mad at me for sticking pins and nails in them trying to hang up my boy band posters?
Or would they kindly remind me like a parent to use a coaster?
Would they comfort me duringmy heart breaks?
Give me advice when my soul aches?
Remind me of where I come from when I lose my way?
Would I thank them for the shelter they provideon a rainy day?
The walls surrounding me have seen every side of me.
Dancing in my pajamas and singing into my hair brush...
Leaving in a hurry in the morning to catch the school bus!
Watched the fire go in and out of my eyes.
Whispered goodbyes.
Would they like me or be tired of my shananigans?
Would we be friends?
Would they tell me that I'm a lot better of a person tha I feel or say?
Would they tell me everything I wish I could believe?
Would they tell me not to listen to the mirroras he can sometimes be decieving?
Tell me that faith is not having to see something and just believing?
For now I stare atthem blankly and listen closely to the world
the walls have seen me wake up in the morning crankly
In a frenzy, in a whirl
It's just a wall.
And I'm just a girl.
But can you imagine all that they would say?
If the walls could TALK one day?
