If We...

If we are delicate,

Why do others delight in our frailty

If we are innocent,

Why do others relish in our misjudgement

If we are kind,

Why do others venture out to harm those we hold dear

If we are courageous,

Why do others seek to push us down

If we are wise,

Why do others strive to make us fall

If we are honest,

Why do others attempt to cheat the cards of truth

If we stop,

Why do others still have the desire to keep pursuing

But if we stand up...

Will they even try a second time?
