If We Must Fall

If we must fall, let it not be like Goliath, who fell hard full of pride and false strength. If we must fall, then let us not give up when we hit the ground, or lose faith because we are left with less than before. If we must fall, then let us welcome it, with an attitude that will allow humility to come. If we must fall, let us fall with a sense of ease, knowing the worst will soon be over. If we just fell, then get back up, leaving behind the worthless stymies of yesterday’s troubles. If we are getting up, look with confidence and heart, not anguish leaving us hard. If we must be up, then we are back to where we are, but with more, not less. If we must be up, then we must have taken the fall, without pride and trust that, If we must fall, we must get back up.
