If We Scream Loud Enough

we were once the respected

Bringers of Death

louder louder louder

we told them It was Coming

When It was Coming

and they Listened to us

always listened

we have always been here

screaming

we are in agony

we mourn for those not lost

yet

And Yet

we scream still

we try to warn those who need it

all of them

all of you

they Listen no more

not any longer

It's coming

Listen to us!

we say

as we scream to you

in vain

no;

no longer listening

to the Banshees

in the corner

weeping

speaking

shouting

stomping

softly
