If We Were Equal

Location

If we were equal,

People wouldn’t talk down on us

If we were the same,

Why were we to blame?

For the brokenness of this land

As we venture through those cracks

We see the souls of the trapped

As they protest about the fact

That if we were equal,

No one would be to blame
