If You...

After days

of just waiting

listlessly staring

if you could

just say hello

i would be

oh so happy

just to see you

my smile is too rare

yours is the only thing

that saves me

from going into

a state of self-pity

i see you

perfect

heartbreaking

silence

i open my eyes

and you are gone

if you could be

the only thing i need
