If you could

If you could tell me how much you loved me.. would I believe you?

If you could tell me how sorry you are.. would I forgive you?

If you could tell me what went through your mind.. what would you say to me?

If you could tell me how you felt every time you took pieces of me with you..

would a piece of me stillvbe with you?

The sad truth is yes you would have me fooled. Yes, even when you called me names,

even right after you took the pieces of me. If you could tell me you loved me.

you would have me fooled
