If you could only see
If you could only see...Nov 5-2015
Listen to me
As I scream out your name
Do you hear me
As you continue your game
Look at me
My eyes withered and grey
But you see right through me as if I'm okay
Check up on me
Say I'm proud
Don't treat me as if
I am a sullen grey cloud
I am here
I'm standing in front of you
I'm watching and waiting
To see what you'll do.
My fingernails are dirty
My hair greased on my head
My teeth an ugly yellow
My eyes bloodshot with tears unshed
My walk is crooked
My shoulders hunched
My eyes down cast
The space between always crunched
My skin a sickly pale
My lips crusted and chapped
My throat dry from screaming
My inner turmoil trapped
My weight quickly dropping
My clothes bags upon my skin
My hygiene dropping to nothing
As I stare at you. My kin
You'd think you'd stop this
And tell me you're back for good
But you don't. You won't
Sometimes I question if you even could
My trust in you is broken
My faith in you collapsed
My eyes turned a darker grey
As I see that you've relapsed
