If your anything like me
If your anything like me you'll understand
how dramatic, selfish, and unhinged I am
To notice little things but not care about the big ones
to joke about a tazor and be terrified by a gun
If you are anything like me you get attached to people too soon
you go outside in the frosty air to look at the stars and the moon
you never let people see the saddest parts of you,
never go outside in the day and always stay in your room
If you are anything like me I bet you already know
that making other people happy is the only goal
That writing lies and dressing up to fit the status quo
Is the only way to live to make yourself feel better so
if your anything like me I'm not sorry
About all those times you went into your closet crying
for being strong when you don't have to
for not letting other people walk all over you
So if your anything like me don't stop wishing on shooting stars
don't stop messing around with makeup that makes you look bizarre
don't stop trying to be better even though sometimes it's hard
because if your anything like me just know your bruises won't leave you scarred
