Ignition

                              We argued
                              It was fun to imagine
                              thought balloons
                              above our heads
                              Yours asked  Are you
                              serious
                              Mine said  You must be
                              kidding me
                              Your neck turned red
                              My shoulders tightened
                              We stepped close
                              then closer
                              parted lips
                              and kissed
                              like toreadors
                              having decided
                              in the crucial moment
                              to wave off the bull
