Ignorance

Below the rosebush, thorn and brush the soft the dank the muddy lie. An unthought of underworld. Where petals blacken, willows sigh. A tear falls clear and Ruby Red, As one takes one’s last breath. Her layers peel and blacken.
Wilt. For she knew if open, would not last. No tree cease stand, No wind cease blow. Tides turn, worlds turn, and birds still fly. But nature doth not stop and think of she who under lie.
