Ignorance

Beauty covers the sky

Painting a mural for all

An unappreciated gift

Colorful birds fly across the trees like angels

Monkeys howl playfully from a distance

The sun pierced through the openings

Reds blur the green

Screeches cover all other sound

Increasing by the days

Heat burns through all

Tension secretly rises

We sit in our instigators

Complaining about traffic

Our greatest inconvenience

While others worry about death

Tick tick tick

Time goes by

Tragedy is inevitable

When we live in ignorance

The reds spread

It’s coming home now

It’s coming for it’s source

Now we worry

Now we care

Now that it’s our doom

Is it too late?

We watch others suffer

While we watch TV

We impatiently wait for our dinners

While they wait to die

We ignore any trouble

Until it’s our problem too

We can’t live this way forever

It’s our time to change

But we missed our cue.
