Ignorance: An Acrostic

Dedicated to "BoomBrocoli"/"Renegade Giratina"
Conceived Saturday September 15, 2012

Ignorance is like a toaster:
Grabbing on to the soft, white bread of truth,
Never letting go, never trying to accept it.

On fire, its insides yearn for the taste of burnt,
Ravaged, black toast
And corrupted, hard untruths.

Never knowing that no matter how distorted and burned and
Charred the truth may be, it will remain,
Evermore, leaving ignorance clogged and smoking and burnt.

Ego Finale

You're a human, right? Just like me. You're alive, you breathe, you think. Just like me. You learn, you love, you hate, you aspire. Just like me. Unless you give me a reason not to, how can I not love you?
