II

I’ll give you two this week, just for my sake,

By now, you have prob’bly guessed who I am,

It’s not hard, but it might make you awake,

I know it’s out of line, but it’s not fake,

I don’t want you to think this is a scam.

I’m sure you’ve been told what I feel for you,

It’s not much diff’rent than what’s been now said,

I may have given you a hint or two,

But if I’d told you, you’d wish me adieu,

And then my heart would be torn into shreds.

There are more than just four reasons I fell,

But those stand out the most while writing this,

I thought these were feelings that I could quell,

Their aim was true and could not be dismissed.
