II

love can only be compared to love

i think that's sickening

my love is sharing molten vomit

and crying in plastic covered backseats

your love might be chocolate covered strawberries

and puppy dog kisses

i hate you for what you are

for what i am

and what we want

i hate that you're broken in your own ways

and i have to mend myself together

i hate that the love you need is something i can't create

i can't compare love to anything i know

and i blame everyone but myself
