I'll be there
When you open your eyes to the world and take your first breath I'll be there. When you say your first word no matter how unclear I'll be there. When you have your first birth day or your twenty-first birthday I'll be there. When you take your first steps I'll be there. When you close your eyes and night surrounds you do not worry I'll be there. When you are not well and your feeling sick do not worry I'll be there. When you ride you're first bike I'll be there. When you go to school I'll be with you. When the pain of rejection hits you I'll be there. When those mean kids bullied you I was there. When you started cutting yourself I was there. When you did those drugs I was there. When you hit your girlfriend I was there. When you dropped out of High School I was there. When you drove that car into a tree I was there. I have been watching you son and I have always been there but you make me cry. Now you are here too can I ask you why?
