I'll Be In The Waiting Room

My feelings are sitting in the living room of my stomach

where the butterflies used to be

They left because they got tired

of waiting for you to say something

or to politely ask them to leave

and that you would give them no reason for them to be there

because there was somewhere new they could go

and i’m sure they went there

and are fluttering more

than you would've ever wanted them to

in me.
