I'll be your happiness

Because I love you

I will stand beside you.

In your tumultuous times

I will guide you forward;

When you cry in anguish or anger

I will wash away those tears.

I am your protector.

But that does not mean

I don't have doubts.

I am insecure:

Are we happy?

Could we be happier?

Whatever the case,

I will stand as your guardian,

protecting your smile.

Your laughter will reverbrate,

your eyes will hold the stars,

and- because I love you-

I will be the source of it.
