I'll Make you Proud

Dad these words are from my heart

I miss you terribly and I’m torn apart

Hawkeye was your theme

You watched me cautiously as I dreamed

A tea party, you and me

A tux… A dress… Sweet simplicity

You always had a laugh and a smile

It made everyday with you worthwhile

My rock so steady

You were aways there for me graciously

So many memories of you and me

Makes me wish things could have ended differently

You made me feel so loved

I know you’re looking down on me from heaven above

You and grandpa together forever more

I’ll make you proud dad... That’s for sure.
