I'll Never Be Her


She walks down the hall Swaying her hips with each step she takes Her long brown hair bounces Like its curls are on a trembling vase Broadening her smile She says hello to all the boys Then gracefully sails to her girlfriends Exchanging gossip and noise I stare at that girl Jealous, wishful Then I wake up And I realize I will never be that girl
