I'll Never Know: 5-6-14

God?

Who is this God?

So many tales have been spun

So many songs have been sung

How do  I know he isn’t just another one?

Does the answer lie in me?

No,

I read my history

You see God, the Almighty, isn’t just some story to

Tell a kid at night

He’s real

In fact, man was molded from the perfection of himself

Our Lord, God

And you know what  I think of when I hear that

Name?

I hear the voice of awesome power

I see fiery bushes that didn’t burn

Freedom to those enslaved

Courage tested against evil unbound

All because he loved us

The humans

In fact, He loved us so much

He gave his only begotten son to die on the cross of

Calvary

So redemption could be an option to us

Do you understand what I just said?

God gave his only son, to die by the hands of humanity

So humanity might be saved
