"I'll Never Understand"

September 11^th tragedy

I’ll never understand why people kill others,

Why they commit such ruthless and senseless acts.

I’ll never understand what would possess

A country to attack another in such a way.

I’ll never understand what’s in the mind of a terrorist,

Truth is, I don’t want to.

I’ll never understand why anyone would plunge to their own death

To destroy the thousands of people in those two towers.

I’ll never understand a lot of things,

And I won’t try to.
