I'll Remember Thee

I'll Remember Thee.....

I will remember Thee,

Thee who came

And Thee who tasted,

Then consumed,

Or even gobbled up,

Of the many hours,

Of gastronomically delights,

That these gifted hands

Had created, prepared or cooked,

Or wove a magical spell

Over grub and tucker,

Which you know,

Had really kept the fire in the belly

Going for another day,

So to you poor suckers

Having to partake

Lest ye fade away and die

“I will remember Thee”
