I'll Take Care Of You

Grandpa, I thank you every day

Now I see how much you cared

You really went out of your way

So that little Idenise wouldn't be scared

of the big world, she couldn't see

Off to America where she can be

Anything from A to Z

Barely know ing English

You told her to aspire to be

" anything, anything, mama all I want you to do is LEAD!"

You told her to Fight, fight

for what is right

Come back home you would say

So that you wouldn't be alone

Ebola, Ebola entered Liberia

 Then you died

Grandpa oh Grandpa I'm sorry I didn't help you fight

My hands were tight

Every day I cried

Every night you weren't by my side

I blamed myself

But I remember what you told me

Fight, fight for what is right

Ill fight Ebola with a cure

Don't worry grandpa this time ill fight

my hand won't be tight

Grandpa, I thank you every day

Now I see how much you cared
