Illuminated Love

(poems go here) Dear sweet love, Why is thy so protective of me? I have done my share of dirt and sin, But blindly you do not see. With forgiveness in my heart, you do not hesitate to open up, the door that stands before me shall not budge, and remain shut. Falling short of your demands each and every day, The thanks and love I have for you is hard for me to convey. I stand tall without fear, to the human eye. But when I come before you Head bowed Eyes closed instead of being a man I cry. I am a child yearning for that parental need. Though it isn't physical, eternally I do bleed. When no one else was there, you were by my side. When times got hard, to you I would always run and hide. Without you in my life I know I could not succeed You are my Lord and Savior and your love is always guaranteed.
