Illusion
Time stops
When you look at me
I remember the first time
I saw you standing there
Your green eyes pierced my soul
You knew me, never having met me
But now I'm not so lucky
You've backed me into a corner
A wolf in sheep's clothing
Pulled the wool over my eyes
At first, the illusion was preferable
I want to wake up from this nightmare
But I can't
My mind and body go numb
And I walk out to meet you, grudgingly,
As time starts again
