An Illusionary Paragon

Flawless-

Faultless-

Perfect-

These meaningless adjectives are

Simply unachievable aspirations,

False identities and shallow portrayals.

Flaws are what make up our mortal beings,

Faults are what define us.

Without flaws,

We would be identical spirits

Existing in a world of merged selves.

They are what make us unique;

They’re the door to our character.

What others fall in love with;

What others desire to temper their own.

Life would be so lackluster

If we all were flawless…

I am not flawless,

I am my flaws.
