Illusions

I am Western Europe,

I’m rich, powerful, and can do anything that I want,

My economy is very stable, and everyone here is perfect,

“I” am perfect.

I am Western Europe. I have many flaws,

My unemployment rate is 11.5%

We barely have enough resources to house and feed ourselves,

Not to mention the refugees crammed into small “sheds”

I am Western Europe,

I am fancy and rich, my GDP is 18.27 trillion

I am very polite, and everyone here is loved,

I am loved

I am Western Europe,

The rich get richer while the poor get even poorer

My GDP is quickly declining

I am slowly dying

We are Western Europe, and get passed every single day, because we are “perfect”,

In reality, People in this region are starving, grieving, and moaning

The starving people of Western Europe get no sympathy,

Which only digs them deeper and deeper into their own grave

I am Western Europe

Since I am perfect, I don’t need any help.

The people here are diamonds

“I” am a diamond amidst stones.

I am Western Europe

I am the broken down car on the shoulder

The people here are in pieces trying to get a job

I am shattered into pieces

I am Western Europe

I am the wicked witch of the west, dominating everyone

I have everything anyone could ever want, including tea, crumpets, diamonds, and crowns

I am everything.

I am Western Europe

I am Dorothy just trying to get to a safe place to call home

I have to scavenge and scramble for the things I NEED, and hardly anything thing I WANT

I am turning into nothing

I am Western Europe

I am forever traveling on the yellow brick road, the golden brick road

I am the powerful wizard, granting wishes

I am what people wish to be

I am Western Europe

I am the lion, Fierce on the outside, but shy at heart

I am the fake “wizard” behind the curtain

I am hiding behind the curtain

We are Western Europe, and get stepped on by the rich

We moan and cry, not to be heard

We are a tree, falling in the forest with no one there to hear

We need somebody to hear our cries for help

I am western europe

I am western europe

*breath*

{[(Softly)]} We are Western Europe
