Illusions
I am surrounded by a beautiful lie meant to be paradise as if the piercing blue sky isn't an illusion created by my mind looks can be deceiving and The eye can be deceived for here in this island with a sweet breeze I am alone and pining for home my heart is like the waves crashing against the jagged rocks of each cliff searching for comfort in the pain maybe than I can explain why I feel broken
I'm hoping that the light caresses of the wind will fly me to the oceans shore .
Maybe someday I'll remember how it feels like to walk on land
To reach out and hold a hand!
Sand dunes of sorrow sweep slowly throughout this island of mine.
The rhythm of the little waterfalls of dew seem to hypnotize me.
