I'm From

I'm from occupation From foreign food and hookahs From the once clean air that's become ruthless I'm from simplicity and the I love you song From put a sock in it and never back down I'm from the suitcases that went around the world From the Arabic coffee and the modest girl I'm from vandalism and hate Transformed to extravagance and love I'm from simple ways that revolved into elegance That later on got shoved I'm from the white gazebo I always sat in From the beautiful rooftop that at night was sparkling I'm from a type that appears oppressed To people I only remind them of a guest I'm from the down to earths and the conceited bunch From the must wait until all thirty are here for lunch I'm from one of the hundreds I love and more From the type that started long ago which I adore.
