I'm afraid of the monsters in life

 I'm not afraid of monsters in the closet,

or monsters under the bed,

I'm not afraid of the thoughts in my head,

I'm afraid of the monsters that are already here,

I'm afraid of the monsters in life,

the ones that chase you down,

the ones that  make everyday seem like you're going to drown,

the ones that fat-shame you when your wearing a gown,

I'm afraid of the monsters in life,

the ones that yell and fight,

the ones that leave and comes back anytime,

the ones that gets away with commiting a crime,

i'm afraid of the monsters in life,

the ones that try ruling other people's lives,

the ones that seem unstoppable,

the ones we can and will oneday stand up to.
