I'm an American

Just because I'm an American,

that doesn't mean I'm stupid.

Just because I'm an American,

that doesn't mean my people will degrade other countries.

Just because I'm an American,

that doesn't mean I have to be fat.

Just because I'm an American,

that doesn't mean I'm materialistic.

Just because I'm an American,

that doesn't make me better than you.

We will never be like you

because we know ourselves what's true.

America is wonderful

in their own way.

You can say what you want.

I can do that too.

Our rights grants us freedom

along with happiness to pursuit.

No matter the circumstance,

we'll always come through.

Sometimes in doubt,

but that's because we're new.

We follow our hearts,

it’s the best choice to do.

If I get to be anybody,

it's an American I choose.

It's because as an American,

It made it possible

to understand you.

With discrimination

or bias,

I don't hate you.

You're wonderful too.

America the country, a precious harmony

Where I get to learn about you,

a way to improve

our lifestyles,

and innovations too.

If I had to change anything,

it would be

best of all

and my favorite,

to be friends with everyone

including you.

Just because I'm an American,

this is my right being pursuit.
