I'm Back

Its been awhile since I’ve written my thoughts down Its been awhile since I could think straight I’ve been messed up all the time Everywhere I went I just showed up late But now I’m back and clean I’m back for you and me too I’m back away from the illusions I had seen I’m back baby Just for you and me Hey, hey, hey Can I ask you a question Can I have a dream One not to small or to big You knew where I was Up in the sky flyin high It’s my life I’ll live it the way I want Little to what I know I wasted it away everyday Nowhere was where I’d go Nothing is what I say Nowhere is where I should be But nowhere isn’t really me Hey, hey, hey Can I get some direction Can you show me where the light gleams Sparkles from our my first gig Some will die alone I’ll tell you I wont be one Because all die But not everyone lives I’m not gunna live a lie I’m not gunna buy the shit people give I’m not gunna live under a rock and let everything pass me by Hey, hey, hey Can I get an inspection Can you tell me is this what it seems Can you tell me how far I have left to dig Can you tell me what you see Can you tell me if its me
