I'm a Butterfly

I’m a caterpillar

Bright with color

As I leave my mark

Inch by Inch

I reached the highest branch

I find myself

Transforming slowly yet gracefully

Now, I’m a butterfly

I glide in the wind

Free from the cage

That once held me within

I may land for just a moment

But by tomorrow I will be gone

Leaving a spark of joy in hearts

As I flutter along
