I'm Changing

I'm changing, I can feel it pulsing inside me. This new feeling is not what I'm use to. It's so dark but it feels so right.

I'm changing,  I can feel my body walking out of the light and running into the darkness. I have this desperate need for something I shouldn't want.

I'm changing, I can feel my mind being taken over by thoughts that aren't my own. These dark shadows are implanting new ideas into my head that I can't deny enjoying.

I'm changing, I can feel the words of my peers stinging my soul. They are mocking me with words of hate. Their blindly labeling me with lies that others claim I am to be.

I'm changing, I can feel all their eyes on me as I walk down the hallways. Rumors about me are coming to the surface but their not true. I'm starting to not care and sink into the lies.

I'm changing, I can feel my body transforming into the stranger I see in the mirror in front of me. She looks just like me yet were complete opposites. That was until I started morphing into her.

I'm changing, I can feel the bad me kill the good me. I'm loosing the most important war because of words and lies from others around me. They don't know what the good me was even like.

I changed and now she's gone, but I'm here.
