I'm the child
I'm the child that fell too far from the family tree
The ground carried me away down the slope of the hill
I'm the child that doesn't know who she is
Taking the hand of the unknown, navigating new landscape
I'm the child who is lost
The compass of my mind leads me to the true north, my true self
My hear beg for exploration
I'm the child in fear
Traversing the dark tangly roads of self-awareness
I'm the child that cry out to be known
I'm the child of two people that brought me in this world then were called to there heavenly home
I'm the child that wants to know her mothers love and her fathers voice
So I ask who am I as I walk down the path that you have carved for me but the only voice that can be heard are the screams of your child screaming “who am I “
I'm the child with 46 chromosomes but doesn't know were she's from
I'm the child that screams who am I but the only voice back is mine so maybe one day the world I scream with grow hands and feet and walk out of the dark hole that I lay
I'm the child with a mystery past but a bright future
I'm the child that been blessed but hurt as well
I'm the child with a dream to make a difference
I'm the child of 3 people one One carried me and the other one made me the person I am and help me close to her heart
I'm the child with a destiny
I'm a child of hope, love and peace
