I'm finally free
I was young and I didn't know what I truly wanted. All I knew is I saw my friends getting into relationships and i wanted that to be me. To say the least I was desperate. I was only in 8th grade, I had no standards and I didn't know who I wanted to be. I just wanted to belike everyone else. I wanted to have my first kiss and to be able to say "He's my boyfriend." At the time I don't think you knew what you wanted either. You were a total lady slayer. You had the chance and you took it. You knew I was young and desperate. You had done this many times before so you knew EXACTLY what you were doing and how to mess with my mind. A bunch of my friends and I had gotten your number at your wrestling match. I thought I was pretty cool because 3 months later you were still talking to me but not the others. By this time you had completly foolin me. You had me wrapped around your little finger and knew I would go back to you and give you a second chance at any moment. That was when I found out about the others. All the other girls you had played this same mind game with. The other girls who you would give the same dazziling look and witty smile to make them fall in love also. I was frustrated knowing I wasn't the only girl getting your special treatment. We stopped talking. You completely ignored me in fact. After a couple of months and you finally breaking up with one of you girlfriends you texted me. I was still attatched to you and you knew it. As soon as you told me you were at my school I couldn't leave my classroom fast enough. I was beyond thrilled to see you and your same smile with your great humor. All the feelings I once had started flowing through my body once again. I finally had my best friend back. Little did I know this would end the exact same way. Of course there was a her. You were still talking to me so I was confused once again. I thought I had done something wrong just like the time before. I cried many nights trying to figure out why I wasn't good enough. Finally it hit me one night. It wasn't me. You were good at this stuff. In matter of fact you had perfected it. You were so good you made me belive it was all my fault. Thats when I realized I was better off and that I didn't need someone to make me complete and happy. I was complete by myself and I had family and friends to rely on. I was finally free from your mind games and tricks. I didn't want anything except to see you happy but you didn't want the same for me. I was free. I could be my own person without being judged. I could hang out and talk to whoever I wanted without you getting mad. I could be me.
