I'm Fine
Happy & bright, she wish she could be,
But hurt & broken is all she sees.
Every time you see,
She's wearing long sleeves.
It is not because they're so pretty.
It's not even cold or breezy.
Ask her why & she won't say.
She'll act like you didn't say anything.
Keep wondering, she'll never tell.
Her tears are kept in a shell.
Interfering makes her ponder,
But still she's quiet & somber.
Leaving her seems better somehow.
You know it's too late for that now.
Do tell and she'll hate you.
Sometimes you have to do what ya got to.
Life is about taking chances and being risky,
Yet this life makes you go crazy.
Heart, mind & soul between wars.
Save hers or save yours?
