I'm Fine

Tight smiles

Shiny etes

The taste of blood floods my mouth

Don't say anything

Bite my tounge until it bleeds

I can't say the truth

They can't know

"I'm fine"

All smiles

No one thinks to ask again

In public, help old women cross the street

Smile at others

At home

A whole different story

Sob 'til you can't breathe

Cut 'til you can't feel

Scream 'til you can't talk

Hide 'til you disapear

They don't understand

How could they?

You lock yourself away

Never making a change
