“I’m fine”

“I’m fine” she says as she locks her bathroom door.

She repeats this over and over as the blood streams down her wrist.

“I’m fine.” she says as she drinks her life away.

She tells herself that she is overreacting.

“I’m fine” she says as she writes her final words.

“They won’t miss me. Why would they?”

“I love you mom. I love you dad”

She walks out her front door, ready to make the final step towards death.

“I’m fine.” she says as she pulls the gun from her bag.

“I’m fine” she says as she puts it to her heart.

“I’m not fine.” she says as she pulls the trigger.
