I'm Fine

I'm fine with the rules I'm fine with the dudes I'm fine with the people who don't spray perfume.

But why is it... that the second i say I'm not fine its turned against me like a crime?

Fine ok, I'm alright with the school I guess I can get along with them too.

I'm alright with the teachers but the assignments are nothing less than meager. I'm alright with the guys but they're always dry, and yet when I say I'm not fine it's a crime?

I try to keep up with the trends, hoping to fit in. I'm smiling on the outside yet crying within,

when will they realize that I'm not ok?

How can I say that without sounding crazed? How to form the words when I'm as graceful as a flower catching the summer breeze, pretty as a rose with no thorns to tease, quiet as a mouse until you offer me cheese...

I'm good at this and perfect at that!

I have everything I want!

WHAT MORE CAN I ASK!

I

AM

NOT

OK!...

And the world goes still...

Finally they realized I'm more of an orchid, not a daffodil.
