I'm Fine, I Swear

A feeling of complete, utter despair,

My world is falling apart can’t you see?

Faking smiles, and trying not to care,

Does your heart refuse to remember me?

My heart is beating fast, about to burst

I can’t show my true feelings now

I wish the roles here were reversed

I keep asking myself how

I am broken.

Our so-called epic love doesn’t exist

I keep replying all the words you’ve ever spoken

Your soft hair and wild eyes, I have missed.

I feel like I’m insane,

I’m barely breathing through the pain.
