"I'm Fine" by Lindsey Allen
I'm fine,
Two words that make up one big lie,
How can anyone ever think that i was fine.
Maybe they didnt read between the lines,
Maybe they didnt see what was written on my skin in red ink,
They do not see the struggle or the silent screams.
So they dont do anything,
They just leave me here thinking,
if only they knew what they were doing.
Cause humans are more complex than that,
We have more emotions than just being sad,
So if you are one who thinks these things,
you are the problem that nobody is hearing,
cause you are naive.
Nobody is fine,
In fact the whole world is one big lie,
so before you go off enjoying your day take a moment to ask,
Are you ok?
Something wrong with this poem?
