melting on your tongue,
the taste of funnel cake, with the blazing white powder.
ScrEAMS loud enough to be heard a mile away.
Rides beckoning you
and eating to much,
and getting stuck in the crowds.
Making you feel elated,
but also nauseous.
Huge smiles on peoples faces,
all of the groups of friends talking,
and talking,
and talking,
knowing that this moment won't last forever.
Babies having a bad day,
crying and kicking.
Other people trying to get in the l o n g lines of chaos
P-u-s-h-i-n-g and p-u-l-l-i-n-g and cutting.
Finally,
the ride is taking me
through the air.
It feels like...
I’m flying...
I’M FLYING!
