I'm Gay

I'm gay,

I'm not a disease…
No I don't need a cure.

I'm gay,
I'm not sexually confused…
No I wasn't raped or abused.

I'm gay,
I'm not a sin…
No God doesn't hate me.

I'm gay,
But does that give you a reason to hate me?

I'm gay but I'm also...
Your son,
Your grandson,
Your brother,
Your friend,
Or someone you will never meet.

I'm gay but,
I have dreams too,
I have a soul as you do,
And I have people that love me just like you.,

Whatever you say,
Whatever you do,
I'm still going to be gay…

And you know what, that's okay.
