I'm Going To Live Forever

Yes, it’s true: I’m going to live forever. Well, that’s my goal, at least. I don’t mean forever as in an immortal, physically walking the Earth for centuries to come with these two legs of mine. Even though, technically, I am going to walk the Earth for centuries to come, But not in my own body, And not with these legs: I will stay indefinitely on this Earth through memories. Basically, I’m going to live forever in the minds of people. My life goal is that people will remember me: They’ll remember my name. They’ll remember me as the girl who did the impossible, The unthinkable, The unimaginable, And succeeded, though all others were convinced she’d fail. They’ll say, “Remember that girl? The one who never gave up? The one who kept standing right back up after each and every time she was pushed down?” That’ll be me. The one who kept on at her dreams, Through thick and thin, In sickness and health, For better and for worse. My actions and successions will have many different effects on people: Inspiration, Admiration, Idolization. I’d be remembered as the girl who never backed down, Who did what she loved to do despite what society had to say about her. They’ll all remember me not as the girl who was always the tallest in her class, Nor as the girl with the curly, brown hair, But as the girl with the most dedication and determination anyone had ever witnessed. That’ll be me.
