I'm Grown Know

I was cute and tiny

smiley and whiny

just like this poem I grew up

no more cute rhymes more serious times

Average wasn't good enough:

Not in school, B for bare minimum

step up or step out

Run faster or cough up 20,000 after

College was the goal money was the hole

I know everyone but I have no group, no click?

what did I do wrong? where did I go wrong?

In all the choas of growing up

There where the people:

my family that never failed to support

my boyfriend brought out the best in me

There were the lessons:

failure is just as much apart of life as success

lifes not fair.

But it will go on, YOU will go on.

There were the memories:

that make you grow up
