Im Grown Now

From diaper to undies, bottles to food.

From crawling to walking maybe some running too.

Look at me mom, I hope you're so proud.

Look at me mom, I'm all grown now.

From school and sports to summers and games.

From elementary to middle school what we thought would be fame.

I made through even though I was bad.

I stopped listening and doing, I'm sorry if i hurt you dad.

Here we are in highschool, I don't know what to do.

The environment is different and the students too.

My parents switched me schools I don't like it i swear.

From 14 to 16 my life wasn't fair.

Oh no, I messed up now I'm having a baby.

At 16 years old, adoption wasn't a maybe.

I pick out a family, the least i could do.

It's almost the end now i can't lose you.

I kept her instead and I love her to death.

Her name is Emma she is my life my breath.

I had her alone, I can't do it i need to lay down.

It's not about me anymore, I'm grown now.

Did summer school and online classes to make up where i slacked.

I did it i graduated on time with my pack.

I worked hard to provide what I could.

I had 2 jobs, but my family said that wasn't good.

You don't spend enough time with her, you need to do more.

Overwhelmed with anxiety and self doubt, i couldn't move to even do a chore.

Met some new people, they seem kind of fun.

From mommy to drug addict I feel lik a bum.

A year in a hole i couldn't climb out.

I miss my baby, everytime i leave she seems to pout

From family to "him", I lost myself.

I lost all my weight my baby and my health.

Uh oh here I am with number 2.

There was only one thing i could do.

Im 20 right now and i had to get clean.

Not that i wanted to, but it wasn't for me.

My little baby my pride and joy.

Your all i ever wanted my little boy.

Its been a year now and we've been doing so well.

Might not be doing much but it's not a living hell.

Tired of sitting around i needed to leave.

Constant fighting in my house you couldn believe.

I'm back with my dad away from "him".

But my life still feels really grim.

I moved out of the city into a town.

From nothing to something, I'm grown now.

Somethings have happend, I had to quit and move.

Moved back in my dad's and I'm losing my groove.

From job to job and tired of jumping around.

Online i searched and Pima I found.

I called up the school and got some information.

Here i am now I've hit my destination.

A Vet Tech I'll be.

I need a degree.

I can't find work with classes and kids.

Scholarships I need, i might flip my lid.

I have no money or gas or food.

I'm running on empty, what do I do?

I've come so far, to fall back down.

Help me out, so I can be grown now.
