Im I expecting to much

My birthday came and gone I got my candy apple like I always do every year This is the first birthday married He didn't get me a cake Nor a dinner A small gift it was cute But I'm just sad I know he didn't have $ But it's his pay day He's not even acting like he made me sad I've told him to take me out I'm just disappointed I put on my PJs Lay in bed And want to cry But I'll just sleep Am I expecting to much

My work goes with the beat of how I feel to when I remember a memory I want to talk about it to random thoughts
